Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601)
ETA is an electronic authorization to visit Australia for tourism or business purposes. It is available to passport holders in many countries and regions in the world. Most ETAs are issued by Australia's online immigration offices to travel agents or agents, airlines or other similar providers around the world. There is no application fee for this type of visa, but a service fee of 20AUD is payable.
eVisitor (subclass 651)
eVisitor (subcategory 651) is a free visa for nationals of certain countries who are outside Australia at the time of applying for a visa and who wish to visit Australia for tourism or business purposes.
600 Visitor Visa (subclass 600)
A tourist visa (sub-category 600) is intended for those who wish to travel to Australia as tourists, for business or for family. This is a temporary visa and perhaps the most popular tourist visa.
This visa has 4 streams:
A tourist purpose involves a vacation in Australia or a visit to a family with relatives and/or friends.
Visiting Australia for business purposes involves attending conferences, negotiating or researching markets for business purposes.

Travel Stream:
Designed for those who want to travel to Australia on vacation or visit family or friends. If you are applying for this visa while in Australia, you must be in Australia when deciding the outcome of your application. If you are outside Australia at the time of application, you must also be outside Australia at the time when the outcome of your application is decided. Australia Tourist VisaBusiness Stream:
Intended for business travelers traveling to Australia for a shorter business trip. This includes attending conferences and business meetings. You must be outside Australia at the time of visa application as well as when the outcome of the application is obtained.Sponsored Family Visa:
Designed for people traveling to Australia to visit family or close relatives. You must have a sponsor for this visa, who may be required to make a security deposit. You must be outside Australia at the time of visa application as well as when the outcome of the application is being decided. You will also not be able to apply for a second visa after arriving in Australia.Approved Destination Status:
Intended for NR China nationals traveling in organized travel groups You must be outside Australia at the time of visa application and at the time of deciding on the outcome of the application.A tourist purpose involves a vacation in Australia or a visit to a family with relatives and/or friends.
